Please join us at the American Cancer Society Cowtown Ball on Friday, October 1, 2021 for a one-of-a-kind evening, featuring great food, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more.
We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. During this unprecedented year, we’ve all seen unsettling shifts in our lives. The American Cancer Society has had to pivot to make sure we can continue to focus on our main priority – saving lives. We have a goal to reduce the mortality rate by 40% in 2035! We need your help to make this happen.
During this difficult time, cancer won’t stop, so neither will we! Every day more people are diagnosed with cancer, and due to COVID-19, we’ve seen lower screening rates and vaccinations occur. The American Cancer Society is a key resource for the CDC and health professionals in helping to train and give guidance to safely bring patients back to screenings and treatments.
In 2020, there were 10 million cancer deaths. This year 129,770 Texans will be diagnosed with cancer and 41,810 will succumb to the disease. With your help we can lower these numbers!
Our 28th anniversary Cowtown Ball is set for Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Fort Worth Zoo. We ask that you commit now to supporting this Fort Worth tradition because cancer patients need us to stay vigilant in attacking this disease. Can we count on your patronage?
The funds we raise are critical to staying well, getting well, finding cures and fighting back. We hope you will join us in this effort at the 2021 Cowtown Ball.
Sincerely,
Christian Burton and
