American Cancer Society’s
2022 Cowtown Ball

Friday, September 30, 2022

Every day more people are diagnosed with cancer, and due to COVID-19, we’ve seen lower screening rates and vaccinations occur. The American Cancer Society has a goal to reduce the mortality rate by 40% in 2035!  We need your help to make this happen. Cancer won’t stop, so neither will we!

In 2022, it’s estimated there will be 1,670 cancer deaths per day. This year 139,320 Texans will be diagnosed with cancer and 43,490 will succumb to the disease.  With your help we can lower these numbers!

Our 29th anniversary Cowtown Ball is set for September 30 at the Fort Worth Zoo. We ask that you commit now to supporting this Fort Worth tradition because cancer patients need us to stay vigilant in attacking this disease. Can we count on your support?

Please reach out to Loren Baker, ACS Staff Partner, at loren.baker@cancer.org with any questions.

The funds we raise are critical to staying well, getting well, finding cures and fighting back.   We hope you will join us in this effort at Cowtown Ball 2022!

Sincerely,

Christian Burton and

Virginia Durham
